CareMore Health Plan is hosting a “Spirit of ’45 Day” event on Sunday, August 12, from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. at CareMore’s Nifty After Fifty location in Apple Valley. The day will salute those who served in uniform and on the home front, pay tribute to those who gave the ultimate sacrifice, and mobilize all Americans and future generations to carry on the legacy of national unity and commitment to service of the World War II generation.
The goal of the KEEP SPIRIT OF ’45 ALIVE event is to establish an annual day of remembrance and national renewal to remind America of the values and accomplishments of the generation who endured the hard times of the Great Depression, fought to defeat the greatest tyranny in history, and then went on to rebuild their shattered world in an unprecedented effort to help assure a better future for both friend and former foe alike.
